How to obtain custom PEEK components for the medical industry

The video shows the creation of a PEEK component used in the medical sector. The geometry and thickness of the detail made it necessary to use the machine shown, which, using the work surface suction technology, allows the finished piece to be obtained in a single phase.
Unlike traditional milling machines with similar technology, the one shown uses a larger pump with the possibility of selecting dedicated suction areas, to convey the power to a specific area.

The material chosen for the application is Polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
